Chester Moon sofa originates from a reinterpretation of classic products. During the simple designs, it interpretates the importance of different shapes' balance, even though the adopted technology Baxter used is very complicated to achieve this simple design. This kind of sofa represents the manual craft that's necessary during researching in old times, and connects the past with modern by a simple clean line.
Chester Moon sofa series are elegant and exquisite, and was designed by Paola Navona for Baxter. This sofa completely manufactured in Italy, consists of fir solid wood frame (fir plywood structure, S shape springs and woven elastic band), and colored beech bottom chassis. Polyurethane foam filler filled with acrylic fiber cover, leather interior.
Chester Moon pays tribute to the ancient Chesterfield model, which comes from United Kingdom's Eternal sofa. Baxter uses handmade filling interiors on the seats and backrest. The back side of the sofa maintains the same interior decoration: an ideal choice for placing the sofa in the middle of the living room.
